By downloading or using Color Pixels ("the App") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms and the applicable app store terms.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, tamper with, or attempt to circumvent purchases, ads, or other features of the App, nor use it in any unlawful way.
3. Purchases
The App is free to download. It offers optional one-time in-app purchases: a one-time "remove ads" purchase and individual sprite packs. There is no subscription. Purchases are processed and governed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, and refunds follow those stores' policies, not ours.
4. Advertising and rewarded videos
Unless you purchase the ad-free option, the App displays third-party ads. Some optional extras (extra hints, unlocking a single premium sprite, exporting an animated GIF) can be earned by watching a rewarded video. Watching is always your choice and never required to keep painting. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads.
5. Your artwork
The pixel art you paint, and the images and GIFs you export from it, are yours to keep and share. The underlying sprite designs remain ours, so you may share your finished artwork as you like, but you may not redistribute the App's sprites as a set or as a competing product.
6. Intellectual property
The App, its artwork, its sprites and its code are owned by us or our licensors. Every sprite is original work drawn for this App: genre archetypes, public domain subjects and real-world things. The App does not include third-party characters or other third-party intellectual property. If you believe any content infringes your rights, contact us and we will review it.
7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the App.
8. Accessibility features
The App offers written and spoken color names and descriptive names for colors that look alike. These are comfort and accessibility features offered in good faith; they depend in part on your device's own speech engine and settings, and we do not warrant that they meet any particular accessibility standard or certification.
9. Changes & termination
We may update the App or these Terms, and may discontinue the App at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
